Cirque du Soleil - Immortal world tour - struggled to get tickets?

Was on the ticketmaster website every morning this week trying to get tickets for cirque MJ for the pre sale and opening day - but found only the upper tier available (as afraid of heights was not suitable). Did anyone have any luck getting lower tier tickets..,.or have ticket agents got all the tickets, so dissappointed and have seen people selling them on other ticket sites for 3 x the ticket value. Is ringing the booking office more succesful?? any feedback appreciated.

Thanks:)

  • I tried the same all week and had registered for pre-sale tickets -as there are only 2days I thought it would be difficult - ticket master had decent tickets but they were the 'platinum' option starting at over £200 each - there is no way I would pay that as O2 in my experience is a dreadful venue for watching any performance (especially from up in the gods)

They have 4 days now, and some good ticket sellers on ebay selling for starting 99p in lower tiers. One pair went for £130 yesterday, that's below face value! Keep an eye on the auctions, not the buy it nows :)

from personal experience i would be wary of getting tickets off e bay or similar sites, bought tickets for cirque at the RAH the other year tickets arrived even got us into the venue, then we were ejected because the tickets were scam and due to pay pal policy of one month we lost out big style!!!!!!!!!!!!:(

Only ever buy from a seller with great ticket feedback, I've never had a problem. I also sell unwanted tickets on there too. I should imagine the number of scams is very low compared to the 10,000s of tickets on ebay everyday. I have no worry if I do my homework on the seller. You could leave it to nearer the time where there tend to be sellers that can't make the event - not surprising as most tickets can be bought a year in advance. These will also fall within the paypal policy of non-described item if there is a problem.
I have used seatwave and getmein before but the prices were very steep. I'd always go for Ebay first.

I got two tickets from Seatwave a couple of weeks ago and although hated paying twice the seat value, at least I got reasonably good seats - still in the top tier but front row. Two days later I saw that programme on the TV about how companies like Seatwave and Viagogo get their tickets! Really really p***ed me off but then how can you get round it when all and sundry seem to be in on the act?
