Hi
I want to see if I can reclaim my ppi from my egg credit card, now Barclaycard. I dont have any paper work so I sent off for my terms and conditions which I have now got. I went to fill the complaint form in but it asks for a policy number. How do I find this out I have no idea, ppi isn't even mentioned on my terms and conditions. Any help on what my next step would be? Any help gratefully received, as Ive just been made redundant I could really do with some extra pennies

For your information yes it is a real complaint, how dare you judge me just for putting I could do with some extra pennies, I would think most people in today's climate could do with some extra pennies!!
We as a family have really struggled over the past 8 years only just making ends meet, my other half has had months at a time on 'gardening leave' over the past 2 years. And now I've lost my job too. Not that I need to explain myself to you. In the future i suggest you keep comments like that to yourself!0 -

I didnt judge you. I asked you if it was a real complaint because nothing in your post indicated any reasons for complaint. Just that you were looking to get money. We as a family have really struggled over the past 8 years only just making ends meet, my other half has had months at a time on 'gardening leave' over the past 2 years. None of which are reasons for complaint. In the future i suggest you keep comments like that to yourself!

I asked for an answer to my question of what to do next, not a discussion whether you think I have the right to claim my ppi back like thousands of other people have done.
Perhaps you should try living on £200 a week with a mortgage to pay and 2 kids to feed whilst still paying my credit card bill with added ppi which I was never asked if I wanted or not.
I didn't write my whole story in my post cause I didn't want to bore people when all I wanted to know is what I needed to do next.
Its not your place to assume that everyone trying to get some money back are just looking for money.0 -

No thanks. I wouldnt have got myself in that situation. My weekly restaurant bill comes to more than that.

Well that's great, enjoy.
There you go again making assumptions, you wouldn't get yourself into that situation!! We didnt get ourselves into the situation either, we didnt plan on redundancy or loss of earnings through gardening leave. And we dont have loads of credit card debt either if you are assuming that. Our credit cards all 2 of them are for emergencies like paying the mortgage or bills, not holidays clothing etc
Anyway enjoy your meals out and keep on assuming
Oh and thanks for answering my question you've given me something to laugh about with my pals :beer:0
