How many jobs does she have, what is the tax code being used, when did she start the job/s ?0
-
If she only has one job and she started this year, her employer should have asked her to complete a form P46 (downloadable of the web) which would usually enable her to get 1/12th of the annual allowance tax-free each month, until hmrc sorted out a proper tax code. They can still do this now (unless hmrc have already given a code)
Without a either a P46 or P45, they are obliged to deduct tax on 100% of the earnings. We need the earth for food, water, and shelter.
The earth needs us for nothing.
The earth does not belong to us.

she had a job in april-May - then she was on Job Seekers allowance, then after she is in this current role,
As far as i know she always handed to prioir/ p45/46 to the employer/JSA at the time0 -
What is her tax code?0

Yes but did she hand the P45 from the Jobcentre to her new employer?0

And what is her tax code?0

The best way to get the money back is to ensure her code number is correct.
What is the code number on her latest payslip?
It should look like this 747L W1The only thing that is constant is change.0 -
