Can anybody advise how to remove from my laptop, I am using iPad at the moment

thanks for everybodies help, have now removed virus by opening computer in safe mode and then scanning with AVG, thanks to beepow for the tip

have you got antivirus software? you should switch on your computer on safe mode, then run your antivirus, should help. xxx

If you are talking about the programme that tells you that you have all sorts of problems with your security and you need to buy their stuff to get rid of them, I used malwarebytes.

The techie board on here are fantastic, from memory you will need, Hijackthis, ccleaner, malware bytes and Avast (or similar) - good luck hope you get it sorted:)
