well it might be out of stock now if anything but my delivery days are next frid sat and sunday
the chap i spoke to on the phone did say theyre getting more stock in and i asked about the price and he did say at that price too
so if we could get somewhere with this it would be fab

When I called the man said that they were waiting for more stock to come in and that it would be at that price.

I also bought the reconditioned Sony VAIO SZ2XP for £699 (I actually paid £664) as I get a further NHS Staff discount. I think the price was wrong on Currys/Dixons websites as PC World were selling the same recon laptop at £999. And I now see that the price has risen from £699 to £949. The Sony VAIO SZ2XP is a stonking machine for less than £700, I ordered on Thursday and its due for delivery tomorrow, I'm keeping my fingers crossed that all is ok as I do not think I will ever get one at that price again. If you are interested in a fantastic laptop, and it comes back in stock at £699 I urge you to go for it!

As you will see from the review, excellent spec, excellent price. I am assured by Sony that it is fully reconditioned and in an "as new" condition. Comes with a full 1yr Sony warranty. I don't want to count my chickens just yet but assuming all is ok with it I'll be one very happy bunny!!

they seem to be in stock now at the new price, at least you can order them anyway, so that must mean something! (hopefully)
