How many is too many?

Hello Krazyk,
Firstly cancel any cards with no balance on them, if they have no 0% on them.

Secondly try to get as much of the balance's onto one or two cards, even if this means you have to pay a BT fee. You need to get yor avalible credit down, in my view they look at how much you could get hold of if you wanted (ie you owe 24k but you could got upto 40k plus!)
Once you can clear a card cancel it.

Thirdly once you have got to 1 business card (paid off in full each month?) and two normal CC's with a high balance's on them you hopefully be able to start applying for new cards with 0% bt's or sbt's to transfer them to and then cancel the old one's.

I have 6 CC's at the moment 1 for purchase's and 5 stoozing 25k, but I have run into a problem of being rejected for new cards. I have to accept that I have probably reached my personal credit limit, I will need to pay one off in full and either haggle a new deal with them or cancel it and them apply for another 0% card. (of which you can find many on this site, even though it would be a lot easier if we had a sub-forum for stoozing)

I think I will be forced to put my debt on less cards. I cannot move the debt I BT'ed to my new Egg Blue back to Barclaycard, so I will get rid of that one. But this leaves me with very little room to move the rest of the debt around. I can get rid of my Tesco one now (only got a £750 balance on it anyway).

I'm having no luck with haggling on cutting interest rates or freezing the rates, has anywayone else? Have have you done it exactly? I've asked all my CC firms to get my interest but none of them are having it. :-(
