PS3 not working after I bought it.

Hi Folks,
I thought I would try and grab a bargain PS3 from Ebay (foolish I know). I saw one which looked like it works perfectly.
However as soon as i bought it there were problems. It would not play a game FIFA at first I thought that originally that it was the CD - I bought another version and sure enough that did not work either.
Now the console wont turn on and it loads up the famous yellow light fault..!
I have started a case resolution on line.
How likely is it that Ebay will resolve the problem..?
Is it more likely that I have lost my money..?!
Many thanks all.

Did you contact the seller before opening the case? If not you've jumped the gun a bit'The More I know about people the Better I like my Dog'

It is more likely that eBay will tell you to return it for a full refund (including your original P&P).
When they do, send it back tracked (courier or Royal Mail special delivery).
I like these, http://www.parcelmonkey.co.uk/ but there are others.
I'm assuming that the seller has refused to take it back, so getting them to pay for that return postage would be difficult.0
