Co-op Premier Bank Account

I took the premier (£13 monthly) account out in January 2011 where they refunded you the £13 for a year if you paid £800 a month into the account. The benefits included mobile phone insurance, travel insurance and breakdown cover.
This has now come to an end and they are charging the £13. I have seen similar policy with Halifax for £10 (£15 and take the £5 interest per month).
Anyone had experience of Co-Op offering anything if you cancel with them?

They didn't with me when I had that account.
I personally think the co-op one is better, you can insure up to 4 phones, the breakdown cover is WAY more comprehensive (In that you dont just get basic roadside assistance and home start... you get nationwide cover, onward travel and european with co-op in addition to home start etc) and you get a £300 fee free over draft not sure what it is with Halifax? For £3 a month I think its a better deal.. personally

I didn't think they would offer anything but thought would ask to see if anyone had experience.
I only need to insure 2 phones and the breakdown cover is sufficient with both parties. I've not read the full terms of the policy and compared yet though0 -
At £13.50 per month, you currently have the Privilege Premier Current Account.
You could always look at downgrading to just the Priviledge Current Account for £9.50 per month. This still covers up to 4 mobiles and has travel insurance, but not the breakdown cover. Cheap and cheerful breakdown cover is available for around a tenner a year.
It all depends exactly which features you want, and at what level of cover. My phone is worth less than a pencil sharpener so isn't worth insuring.0 -

I have two iPhones to insure so is ideal and do like home start recovery. I just need to look at all the different options and see what best.
Obviously if Co-Op where going to give it be free again that would be perfect but doubt they would.0
