Panel beating - car door

Hi, Has anyone ever had to have any panel beating done on their car, and if so was it expensive? I have an old (R Reg) clio, reasonable little run about. I have been thinking of getting a newer car (may y to 51 reg, small car, poss another clio or similar), but as i'm not up on cars it's sometimes better the devil you know…

Yeah, I wanted a door some time back, Not one seller would sell me the complete unit. Too lazy to strip all the glass and motors off mine.

I just wanted to undo the 6 bolts, Unclip the door loom and refit.

Seems they strip them as soon as they come in. And the price he wanted for the parts must have covered what he paid for the entire car.
