£15 Quidco/£17.12 TCB with the free Netflix trial

I am on the trial and so far have been impressed. I ran the laptop (Wireless) through to the 40 inch TV with a hdmi lead and the picture was fantastic.

However I found Netflix very limited in what choice was available. Am I missing something in the search? Or do they only have a small selection of films and TV?

How would I go about accessing the US site on an Xbox 360? Is it an identical method to what's already been posted and, if so, where do I find the DNS settings on an Xbox?

Accessing Netflix USA after setting up a UK account

there are other ways,this is simple for non techies though

For Wii,PS3,360,WD TV

change DNS settings in the the network settings

Primary DNS 208.122.23.22
Secondary DNS 208.122.23.23

all in one post

to reverse the process
set the DNS to Auto

Thanks Custardy. I worked it out from your first post and I am the worlds most un-techy person!

I'm really impressed with the content on the US site. Much better than the UK one.

HA Mutley muppet i'm the same. Thanks custardy, had heard abou doing this but didnt know how..

Also very very impressed with netflix itself, (US much better as it what programs we watch more than anything) blows lovefilm outta the water for me and they may now a new subscriber for good.

Thanks, got it working. Funny how you can't choose the US site directly?
My Ultrasurf creates a document file on the desktop as well, how do I re-direct that out of sight?

keep the config file within the Ultrasurf folder
they dont allow direct access as they arent licenced for the UK
otherwse the content would already be on the UK site

If anyone has a Mac, I managed to access the Netflix USA site with a free piece of software called Hotspot Shield (Ultrasurf is PC only). HTH
