I went thru TCB as well never used them before only quidco andd used the link to get my £5 free, I shall se how that works out. thanks for the info guys
Cullum - may I ask what instructions you used to set it up on the Wii. We have a Wii but ive never used it to connect to the internet before . Cheers.0 -
I've submitted a higher cashback claim to TCB but I did notice in the terms it says the competitor must be a 100% cashback site. Quidco charge £5 per year so does that mean they're not 100% cashback?52% tight0

Jellyhead, my claim was approved and I used Quidco's offer0

Mr Ben, go into wii shopping channel, accept the t's and c's and netflix is one of the options when you first go on it, clock it and download it, then go to your normal wii home and it will be there to choose, click on netflix and sign in and bob is your mothers brother0

Signed up for love film too. Really easy and simple in my opinion so happy with that. With Netflix, is it possible to download to my hard drive. I'm not so tech savvy so its all a bit of a confusing process for me. Just want to get wrapped up in a blanket with a cup of cocoa and watch something on VHS like the old days! Oh well, got to change I suppose.0

That's what I did a few days ago and it was working and playing in seconds. Its easiest on the Wii I think and the streaming is 100% perfect. I have a PS3 too but used Netflix on the Wii0 -

I know what you mean about VHS, we threw dozens out a few months ago as there is no point with them any more. It hurt throwing them out and made me learn a lesson about buying movies either on VHS or DVD - at some stage they change things and your purchases become obsolete. I bet millions of VHS films have been thrown out or sold for buttons on car boots. I stick with watching them this way now, then not wasting money on something that will be obsolete one day. I do buy occasional DVD's but not many.0 -
VHS tapes are always popular on freecycle. There are still some dinosaurs like me who have a VHS tucked away in their bedroom. We have got lots of children's videos but not many adult ones. They were just so expensive, I used to rent instead!
I remember paying £2.99 to rent one film for 1 night more than £20 years ago! This netflix for £5.99 a month is amazing52% tight0 -

True but what happens if your internet connection is a bit temperamental like mine! Sat down with the girlfriend to watch 3 sweet hours of the Godfather the other day, but those 3 hours turned into more like an 8 hour marathon of watching it stream.
Oh how I long for that warm analogue hum, and that faltering occasionally warping picture quality!0
