Thanks, I have BG Homecare in my UK house and we were going to have this done anyway; I'll ring them tomorrow.:D(AKA HRH_MUngo)

Hello again, I have rung BG Homecare this morning - they know nothing about this scheme.
Can I ask if you have a phone number/email address for this?
I'll pm you this enquiry as well.
Thanks(AKA HRH_MUngo)

Those on price protection 2007 and 2010 will be charged a cancellation fee if they come off that tariff. However it would be lunacy to do so.
There are 2 versions of price protection 2009. Version 1 (Price Protection April 2009) has a cancellation fee. Version 2 (Price Protection December 2009) does not have a cancellation fee. They are both now more expensive than the new rates, although not by much. They were cheaper than the old rates, so you have saved money so far. You will need to check which version you are on if you are thinking of returning to the normal rate.
Fix and fall is more expensive than the new rate. There is no cancellation fee.
Click energy has no cancellation fee.0 -

Did anyone manage to find any more details for this. No body seemed to know anything when I called.
Is there a specific number to call?0 -
I've got hold of confirmation regarding PP2009, I haven't been able to get any confirmation regarding fees on other tariffs.0
