dont worry, whether you put it in the section 7 format or provide extra forms for information it wont matter, just explain your situation as you feel able, if the OR needs or wants more info or explanation then they will ask you and you are given plenty of time if you need to discuss your outgoings with them
Hi, im Debtinfo, i am an ex insolvency examiner and over the years have personally dealt with thousands of bankruptcy cases.
Please note that any views i put forth are not those of my former employer The Insolvency Service and do not constitute professional advice, you should always seek professional advice before entering insolvency proceedings.
  • debtinfo - can I ask, were you/ or are you an OR? Something you said earlier got me wondering :)

I put a separate I&E sheet in with my forms and that was fine. All you have to remember is to print and sign your name and also date it the same as your forms, that keeps it official and means if it gets separated from your forms they still know who's BR the sheet is for.

So they would quite happily accept a copy of the soa from here?

Yes i was an insolvency examiner at an OR's office, that is the person who will interview you, The actual OR is the figure head that runs the office (there is only 1 per office) and generally doesn't get involved in the day to day cases.

They should all be proffesional as a minimum, if they are friendly then that is a bonus :)

Mind due, i wasnt always a barrel of laughs, if someone lied to me they would see my stern side

I suppose the thing to remember is providing you have nothing to hide, then they're only human too :)

Personally, I would type it out fresh rather than printing out the SOA we use here. Just not sure how they would view the form itself. But it's your choice in the end and you could always copy, paste and then amend, such as removing unused items, as long as you print/sign and date.

Thank you all so much for your comments and advice got it straight in my head now. I have put car expenses down onto the form although I accept that this will be sold by OR. This would in fact then allow me possibly, with OR consent a little more to manage on as only as have put £79 for housekeeping and that will include just about everything including £30.00 service charge which I have to pay for my flat and is not covered by the rent rebate. Electric and phone and TV licence are the only other things I have put on the budget. Not put for clothes or haircuts or anything else because there is just not the money and if was to put them down I would show a minus balance.

I may attach the National Debt line budget sheet with SOA.

Will complete the lot now today. I got the forms, booked court all same day as otherwise think would have put it off and I know I have to get them completed now as don't want to do any more on them this weekend. Need to try to relax a bit as very stressed.
