All open tabs in IE9 and Avant Browser crash when submitting a new thread

Ever since the forum was updated, all open tabs in IE9 and Avant Browser crash when submitting a new thread where the main body of text has material copied and pasted from other sources.
Submitting this thread didn't cause any crashes as it is all typed.
Submitting a thread in the competition forum half an hour ago that included text copied from MS Word and a link from photobucket did cause tabs to crash.
Edit:
I've just submitted a thread in which everything was typed manually apart from a url (that was applied as an entry link to a competition) and all of the tabs crashed.
