Hi,
I'm new here although have lurked for a while, and have had some really handy tips from this site to help with budgeting & getting my debts down
I'm in a DMP with CCCS but need to open up a business bank account in the near future. I have no CCJs but do have some defaults registered against me.
Does anyone know of a bank that does a 'basic' business account? I don't need an over draft or cheque book, just somewhere I can pay cheques into as my business name & ideally a debit card, but if not, online banking so I can transfer out to a personal account if needed.
I'm with Co-op for my personal basic account, but they won't allow me a business account as it involves passing a credit check, as does pretty much anywhere it seems.
Any ideas?? In a perfect world it would be with a high street bank or well known name, I did a search for poor credit accounts and some decidedly dodgy looking places came up that I've never heard of - no way am I giving them my money!
Thanks
lbl
Edited to add: I'm not being ignorant if I don't reply back tonight, in about 10 mins I won't have www access until tomorrow morning
