Hi all
Just wonderng if anyone can give me an opinion on how this cover letter sounds, it's been quite a while since i have had to write one!
I am most keen to be considered for position of Travel Money Sales Advisor as advertised on the jobseekers website.
Having over 15 years customer service and sales experience i feel I have the necessary attributes in order for me to become a valued and productive member of your team. I have worked as a travel advisor with two of the UK’S leading tour operators, selling holidays, car hire, insurance and travel money, using their in house systems.
I am very enthusiastic and passionate about my customer service and always strive to exceed customer expectations.
Please find my CV attached for your reference.
I would like to thank you for your consideration of my application.
Yours Sincerely
xxxxxxxxxx
Many thanks in advance for all you opinions.

You're welcome LM
only 3 little things, i dont like the 'most' keen, i like just keen but that is personal choice.
jobseekers should be jobseeker's, no offence, just trying to help
'customer service' say customer service skills.
Good luck and let us know how you get on..............make the most of it, we are only here for the weekend.
and we will never, ever return.0 -
Yea it's good the last sentence where it says I am very enthusiastic and passionate about my customer service.... Follow on from this and say something like....... This has been demonstrating when taking time out to organise a customer focus day over the weekend..... Blag it but give an example of how you've demonstrating your passion and enthusiasm.
Just to re-itterate this is a good cover letter!0 -

By saying that you are a conscientious person and still studying etc.
Then your qualification in chronological order
You follow that with your working experience in the same order.
Not sure if that is correct now but just a few suggestions.
I am sure someone else will give you some good pointers soon.
Let us know how you are doing with it.
