When I boot my pc I have some programs automatically start and appear on the tool bar at the bottom of the screen next to the clock. Just lately some of the programs don't appear on the tool bar when it starts up but when I do a ctrl alt del they appear to be running. Any ideas why the don't always appear on the tool bar ? Should I try uninstalling the programs and reinstalling or uninstall them 1 at a time. I really don't know why this has started to happen.
Nothing to see here, move along.

go to the programs via start >> all programs >> whatever .....then look at the options for each and set to show icon in task bar. toggle on/off if they are already set to be on.
Alternatively make your task bar taller and see if that reveals more of them ...

Has it fixed it? Presumably you're able to get to the user interfaces of these applications some other way.
Can you think of anything you might have changed lately?
