Do Co-Op banking accept faster payments?

I'm getting royally ticked off with Santander right now with hassle their giving family members & now it's my turn, although my problem is a little different...
Trying to transfer 1k around the houses, so next in line was my co-op account.
Money is showing as having left my eSaver (Santander) but 2 hours on it's still not showing in my co op account. The details i entered are correct - i've double checked.
My gf went to pay her co op account last night, but this morning - no nothing. Thing is with hers, there's not even evidence of it leaving her account. So she tries again - again, no transfer, no evidence.
We have between 30-40k with Santander. That could very soon be £0.00 because i'm having enough of the trouble that i'm getting with them & the rest of the family are getting with them.

Thanks. Got there in the end, but there's hassle every time i want to make a transfer.
I've put in a complaint anyway saying if it goes on for much longer then the entire family are pulling their money from Santander. Their rates may be up there, but it's not worth this hassle.0 -

I did not think banks was under any obligation to send payments via faster payments. I just thought as long as the payment reached the recipent by the close of business of that work day pending cut off times.0 -
By the close of business on the NEXT working day is the PSD.jackjones01 wrote: »I just thought as long as the payment reached the recipent by the close of business of that work day pending cut off times.
Some banks have been known to schedule a payment made on one day to be processed the next working day.
Savings accounts are excluded from this rule.0 -

The constant phone calls from Santanders various departments. The complaints department chasing us when we've not even issued a complaint. Being told an account is blocked, to call and unblock, only to be told the following day by secure message that the account is still blocked. Being told you can only drop your overdraft online to £50 & you can only drop to £0 in branch and when you call them out for being liars, they admit that you should be able to drop to £0 online.
I could continue, but i've got better things to do. We're sick of it all. If it continues then the money is pulled, simple.0
