Any recommended Websites for UK accommodation?

Hi all

We like travelling around the UK and have always struggled to find a good website(s) for UK accommodation (particuarly small, quality B&Bs/Guesthouses) with reviews, etc.

Can anyone help?

Don't know about B&B's but i use http://www.laterooms.com or if i have seen somewhere that looks good but don't know what its really like i try http://www.tripadvisor.co.uk thats got loads of reviews for lots of hotels etc.

I have always used either

both excellent sites with real bargains.... hmoe and away !

The English tourist board website is the one for reliable accommodation. All are ETB approved and if you go for ones with 4 or 5 diamonds then I find you can't go wrong. Go to:-

Many of the people are contactable by e-mail and have their own web-site links.
Another good source is to join the Rambler's Association. They produce a handbook which is sent to all new members.
Finally the RSPB quarterly magazine has lots of B&Bs and we have never been disappointed. Ring the proprietor, ask for a brochure and don't be shy about asking questions to make sure the place will suit!!
