Google - lost settings

Since Google has introduced it's new interface, Ihave lost the option to "open search results in a new window".
I don't seem to have the search settings any more from where I can click the option. Any ideas please.
BTW. I am logged in to Google with username & password.

When I'm logged in, I click on the little cog wheel in the top right and then click on Search Settings. The option is in there.

My cog also used to contain that facility. Since the new interface arrived, my cog has no options available - it's empty.

The options do change depending on what Google product you're viewing.

Sorry to ask the obvious question, but you are trying from the normal Google search page?

Sorry, my fault for not really reading your problem. Other PC I was using was still showing the older Google search page.

I now see what you mean with the new search page. If you do a search (for anything) the results page has the 'cog' on it. From there you can change the search settings.

Couldn't see a way of doing it from main search page.
