New Business Phone Number

Looking into starting a small business, but one of the things I would like is a recognisable phone number, such as 0161 *** 0000, or something easier to remember, like 1122, 4554 or 6789. What is the best way to get one, and is it costly? Is it through BT when you sort out line rental? The only information on the internet seems to be related to a fake local number which looks like you are nearby when you are not.
