I used a courier firm on ebay last month. I booked them to collect on a set date. They collected on a different date. I rang them and they agreed to deliver on the date I originally requested. They then delivered on a different date. When I rang them to point this out they said it was all my fault !!!! Thay wouldn't collect or deliver on the wrong date. i left negative feedback and they they have started a sqyare trade dispute to get the feedback removed

I think the feedback can only be removed following a square trade dispute it both parties agree
The paragraph below is taken from the ebay help section (I've changed the applicable sentence to red to highlight it for you) - so I wouldn't worry if it was genuine, honest, politely written feedback based on the experience you had. Just don't agree to mediation or removal of the feedback.
However, a more experienced person may have better advice than me.
Use a dispute resolution service. A third-party online dispute resolution service, such as Square Trade, can mediate the dispute. If both trading partners agree to third-party mediation and also agree to remove the negatives, then eBay will remove the feedback. Third-party online dispute resolution services charge a fee.0 -
Sounds as if you were 100% right to leave a neg.
People need warning about things like that.0 -

"was i right in leaving negative feedback?"
If the facts are as you have stated then yes.0 -
Square Trade is such a waste of money. They must be desperate to protect their reputation.

A number of the courier companies on ebay are running into feedback that is getting towards the 'too low to be taken seriously' league so they may well consider it worth trying for a feedback removal even if it does cost them.
If I was looking for a courier I would certainly read your negative and decide whether it was worth saving money only to get mucked around, so yes, you were right to leave feedback on the basis of the scenario you outlined.
