Can I Cancel A Life Policy !

:j sorry to sound stupid, but wish to take a life insurance policy for myself, and one for my partner,just want to know if i go for a 5 year term can i cancel it at any time providing we havnt claimed on it .and change to a cheaper company if there is one at the time... this is not morgage related as already have one for that. any advise would be great........ thank you :A

    I have changed my life insurance on a regular basis over the last 5 years as it gets cheaper and cheaper (up until a 'certain' age i suppose!). There is no penalty of any kind in cancelling a policy, just make sure that you have the new one in place before you do. MSE recommend cavendishonline. I have used them and they offer the most competitive prices on the market povided you know exactly what you want. They do not offer advice.
