fundraising by collecting foreign currency
in Charities
Sorry to pick your brains but could do with some advice/thoughts.
As part of a fundraiser for school we have collected some old foreign coins and a few notes. They are mainly just pre euro ones.
I am sifting thru them as 'we' have decided to display some for the children to look at etc.
However i'm not sure if some are worth anything and whether i should sift these out? As i'm no expert in this area where and how do i find out their value. I have had a quick look on ebay and note that 10000 lire sells ok but have no idea how to work out year on note as it is not in plain site. I did google but when i link thru it then links to somewhere else.

After years of debt and living on the breadline feeling nothing but negative about myself, I am finally feeling that 2019 might be the year I actually get positive about it!
