Bought from private seller but want to return

Hi all

I bought an item from a private seller which looks a bit odd. It's hard to describe but part of it looks a bit mis-shapen and it doesn't look very good when worn! I have contacted the seller who was very nice in her email, said it's supposed to be like that and suggested I sell it on.

She seems like a nice girl, so I do feel sorry for her, but I am not sure where to go from here. The item was £40 and came really nicely wrapped. I cannot force her to refund unless I open a SNAD, can I!

Maybe I'm too nice. I've not left feedback, but I've been negged for far less!

Sorry, to clarify, it's not anything to do with my body shape that is making the dress look weird!

No. It looks like the picture, it's a bit bobbly, but it looks like the picture.
My issue is the middle bit, as you can see in the picture below, it's sort of bulgey. It appears to be a design fault more than anything else. I think I will have to sell it on, but I don't want a buyer to be unhappy with it like I am!

    It's the same as this:

No, I can't. I'm being a bit silly. It's just totally unwearable. I think it has shrunk in the wash!
  • Have you tried on the top in the shop previousl?

I know! I'm gonna give it to my little sister, she'll wear anything!

If it is not as described ie 'shrunk in the wash' or bobbly and this was not mentioned in the listing then a SNAD claim would be quite in order if seller is un willing to refund.

Did you look at the item, Soolin?

Looks like it's meant to be "bulgey" in the middle to me...

OP also mentioned 'bobbly' and looks like it has shrunk, if they are as well as being an odd shape then an SNAD is a possibility
