Egg CC

Options
Hi

I have just recieved my new egg CC so am ready for a bit of stoozing. According to the agreement I have '0% introductory offer on new purchases and balances transferred from credit cards, store cards and even loans and overdrafts'. Using egg Online, I have the option to transfer a balance from these three options. Do I basically go through the onine request form, stating tht I need a blance transferred into a current account to 'supposedely' pay off an overdraft. Can egg find out if this acc is in fact overdrawn??

Many Thanks

Lucie

Really feel like I am doing something illegal with this stoozing!!!

I have just got the new Egg (Blue) card. Unfortunately it doesn't have 0% on BT just for new purchases. I guess there is no way to "stooze" with this card?

My normal Egg Card will give me 0% on BTs for 5 months on it's yearly anniversary in October. I could wait until then.. it's a long way off though. :-(

    Lucie,

I don't think they check. I did a SBT to a current account which was about 2K in credit.

I don't see how they could check - as it's not their bank. I transferred in my EGG balance on top of my 9K account balance, so no issues there.

And anyway, just say it's for the wife's loan :p

You could use it for all your normal purchases and transfer the cash you would have spent into your high interest savings account, not as good as putting it all in at the beginning but better than nothing.

I posted a thread yesterday (Sunday) on the closing date of the 0% date.
Martin's tip grid stated that the closing date for 0% interest is 1st of Oct 2005. In actual fact it is 1st of Sept 2005. It could make all the difference if your are card tarting.

Egg do a rolling offer so the end date will depend on the application date, as always, read the T&C so you are sure.
