I wouldn't have thought many people on here would have an avatar. I've never noticed it before (but then I generally don't go on anyones profile!).

Right, so I need to go into someone's profile to see their avatar?? I'm on a couple of other messageboards and you can see their avatar whenever they post, and seeing as someone had mentioned my avatar I thought that you could see my avatar when I posted, but obviously not. Long sentence or what?? Cheers.

Probably to do with your settings.

Go to http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/profile.php?do=editoptions - the third box is "Thread Display Options" and there's a checkbox for showing/hiding avatars there.
