Hi,
Im travelling from Ireland to Liverpool on the 15th March to the 18th!
Does anyone know any cheap hotels or hostels to stay in?
I am then travelling up to Manchester for the parade on sat!!
What is the cheapest way to travel to manchester? I noticed that ryanair have a bus from L'pool airport to Manchester city Centre for £5!!
Any help
Thanks

Regarding the cheapest way to travel, I think you've answered your own question! Sure someone will have some cheapo hostels for you - but start with Travelodge.0 -
there is a yha hostel at the albert dock which looks nice (never stayed) but the dock is fairly central
unless you stay near the airport, and im not aware of any cheap accommodation it will take ages to get there for the £5 bus and i think the train will be fairly cheap on a Sat. Peak time last week i think it was £12 (but very bad memory) much quicker than the bus, goes from city centre and make sure you get the direct not all stations cause its longer.

hotel formula 1
cheap and cheerful
£30 per room per night - up to 3 ppl per room. (if there are a few of you, then it's cheaper than the hostels...)0 -
try the ibis, right next door to the formule 1. it is a good quality and fairly cheap hotel right on the docks and next to the town centre0

Hi, I often travel Liverpool to Manchester by National Express.
Both Coach stations are centrally located in the city centres, and on the website I can usually book a funfare for just £1.00. (Less 30p if you go through quidco). There are no other (ie credit card) charges.
Its a very quick journey, and in my experience the coaches are usually pretty empty, so lots of room.
Hope this helps.0
