To Window Cill or not To Window Cill - that is the question!

We have had an extension done and will hopefully be at decoration stage soon.

The walls under the windows don't have cills and I'm in 2 minds whether to just paint them or stick a cill on top. Any ideas anyone?

Def cill. That way its 1000 times more robust and it doesn't have to be 'big'.

Thanks - any tips on where to buy from - seen some nice oak ones in B&Q/Howdens

If you are feeling flush and for something slightly different how about some slate ones.
  • Oak is fine but it does have to given a few coats of really good seal/varnish if its not to go black with any form of damp. Personally I'd plump for Howdens as you don't want my opinion on B&Q...
