EDF overcharged me for many years?

I have storage heaters and am on EDF Warmwise Tariff (no longer available) which give me a 2 hour top up for my heaters each day from 12 midday to 5pm (random times).

Today I checked my meter almost every hour and at no time did the meter show the current reading to be at Number 4. which is the cheap rate for my daily afternoon top up. This leaves me suspecting that I'm being charged the full daytime rate for the top up.

Tomorrow I'll check the actual reading for Rate 4 both before and after 12-5pm and see if it's risen just to double check.

This would mean I've been overcharged for about 10 years!

Anyone any thoughts on this please? Could they really have been doing this?
