Can anyone suggest anything to remove some scratches I have noticed on the inside of my fish tank ???

Duraglit brass polishing wool will get rid minor scratches ;D

Try rubbing it with brasso, I use it to take scratches off watch faces.

best to empty the tank first to avoid chemical contamination with the water, which could harm your fish.
