dabsoutlet being a bit naughty

i bought a laptop from dabsoutlet for my daughter over xmas,it stopped working so i had to send it back, now they said it would take 10 days from when i returned the laptop for them to decide what would happen, fair enough i thought.sent laptop back 18th jan it arrived to them on the 20th.in the meantime the continued to sell the exact same laptop as mine.so i thought to myself that's fine they will send me a replacement.but no they sold them all ending on the 30th jan.they credited my acount on the 31st because they ran out of stock.then today looked at their shop on e-bay and they are now selling the same laptop again,i'm really cheesed of about this as i think they just tried to fob me of saying there was no stock.i bought the laptop for £279 they are now selling it for £449 i think thats why i was told they were out of stock.

You cannot force an ebay seller (whoever they are) to give you anything other than a refund.
  • is there an ebay forum, where you can flag up duff goods / sellers?
Long time away from MSE, been dealing real life stuff..
Sometimes seen lurking on the compers forum :-)

What for, they refunded which fulfils their obligation under any rules or laws.

i didn't say i wanted to force them to give me a new laptop,i just thought it was a bit devious to lie and say it was not in stock when it clearly was

just wondering what sort of feedback i should leave for them, considering i did buy 2 laptops from them, not left feedback yet for the two of them.

one other thing they said they credited my account on the 31st jan but no money was put back on my debit card until the 1st at 3pm,does it have to clear first or should i have my funds straight away?.

'faulty goods refunded but would not replace as had increased price' and a neutral for the faulty one, a positive for the good one.

Neutral? I'd neg seeing as they were still selling it.
One important thing to remember is that when you get to the end of this sentence, you'll realise it's just my sig.
