Hair Removal

Hi
I'm after a bit of advice!
For years I have been shaving and I've recently been getting shaving rashes especially under my arms and ingrown hairs. I haven't changed a thing so thinking I should maybe try an alternative method!
I have tried hair removal cream but I burnt myself! Has anyone got any advice?
Obviously waxing isn't an option as I'd be getting them done all the time!
Thanks in advance

If you can afford an epilator, I'd definitely recommend it. They're painful to begin with but you soon get used to it, and they give great results after a few weeks' use.0

Did think about one but I wouldn't know what one to buy!
Can you help? I'm pretty clueless0 -
I got the Boots Smooth Skin zapper for underarm and bikini area, and eyebrow threading for well, eyebrows.

I have a Braun one - I don't know the exact model and I did buy it a few years ago so I wouldn't know if they still do it. But it's good, it's got different heads (one has more of the tweezer bits in), and goes at different speeds depends on what you can tolerate, and also has a built in light so you don't struggle to see.
I would quite like one I can do in water though as I think that would be really easy to do!
Definitely worth a think about though, they're fab and with regular use aren't painful and give really good results.0 -
Have you considered laser?0

Mmmm think I'll have a look at them today and will look for reviews etc
Nah not considered laser had waxing before but my hair grows quickly so perhaps eplilator is best option0 -

I bought a groupon voucher for IPL hair removal. (a bit like laser) I got 6 sessions for £99 instead of £990 for 2 small areas and 1 medium area.
They have similar offers all the time. I went for my trial test to make sure I was suitable (if not you get your money back) and it wasn't painful.
Rather excited to go and get the sessions done and be hair free without the nuisance of shaving or using creams, which don't seem to work too well on me anyway.0 -
My nearest place would be 90miles away so not ideal

I thought it looked good but its out of stock
Going to keep an eye on it though 0
