Can anyone recommend a nice restaurant in either Windermere or Bowness please? I am looking for somewhere that will take 12 of us this Saturday.

Linthwaite house (linthwaite.com) above Lake windermere is a beautiful hotel and restaurant. It has fabulous views from the terrace where you can take a drink. The food is wonderful, though perhaps on the small side for a northern lass like me!0
