Oh yeah, Jarus, forgot to say, was the book you were recommended 'Dangerous lady' by Martina Cole? Not read it myself but one of my colleagues got so engrossed in it that she used to read it walking through central Leeds between the car park and the office and once fell into a puddle because she wasn't looking where she was going!
No but I've added this book to my wish list Thanks xx:jCross stitch cards completed 2010 -1

I'm fine thanks And; I've just been quite busy with trying to get the house in order a little bit and get a load of stuff on the bay. Money's quite tight for us as we're saving hard for Florida so I'm trying to bring a little extra in with doing overtime but I'm trying to stop so much going out too and that's not working very well. Everything I earned on thebay (and more
) has been spent again. Kids keep needing stuff so having to spend on them too. I suppose we can't take it with us when we go right?
I know that I'll need shampoo this month because we're coming to the end of our last bottle so I need to check out where it is on offer at the moment. I'm after Alberto Balsam on 4 for £3 if anyone's seen it? Tesco would be the best as I've clubcard vouchers for there.
My one step face base is very near to the end so I'll have to get out another to replace it soon. Eyeshadows are still never ending, can't remember the last time I bought one, it must be 2 years or longer. It'd be nice to get to the end of some I have so I can replace with some new ones! I do need to clean my brush this weekend though, It's a bit grimy.

Good to hear all is well, Kaz. Someone a bit macabre that I knew years ago used the phrase 'Shrouds have no pockets' for not taking it with you.
Welcome to newbies Bubble and Wondercollie. Your people are right here for you.
Handwash is a great way of getting rid of bath/shower liquids, Wondercollie. Loads went that way for me last year. When I was teaching in the community, I also donated hand cream widely.
I don't use it, as applying foot cream, face cream and body moisturisers daily keeps my hands in good nick. I do use hand cream as foot cream though - any cream past its best goes on my feet.Erma Bombeck, American writer: "If I had my life to live over again... I would have burned the pink candle, sculptured like a rose, that melted in storage." Don't keep things 'for best' - that day never comes. Use them and enjoy them now.0 -
Hey ladies, no movement for me. Shampoo & conditioner should be done soon, they're definitely splutterers. I really need to make inroads on my shower gels. I already use them instead of or alongside bubble bars, but I really want to be using sets of products. I forsee my coconut shimmer bb finishing before the coconut shower cream & I'm worried because that worries me! I'll have to just not moisturise I guess!!
I try to use products from the same sort of family IYKWIM ie florals, citrus and sweet. Don't you have any other sweet smelling lotions ie cocoa, shea or honey. Even mango would go with coconut. Or sun cream.Back for the No Buying Toiletries challenge. 2 more UUs for me to declare:-
75ml bottle of Balance Me Rose Otto shower gel. WNBA. There are other shower gels that I prefer and I'm not fussed if a shower gel contains SLS or not. I don't have sensitive skin that it aggravates it. Usually though I have to be careful with products containing rose extract as this makes me itch so this product gets the thumbs up for being gentle enough in that respect. It did also remind me of the old aromatherapy range from Boots that I used to love.
15mls tube of Smashbox Photo Finish Primer. The jury is out for this product. I've had 2 x full sized bottles of it and one other of the travel size in the past. The product itself is wonderful so long as I don't apply too much because it then makes my skin oily. When I first tried this product I bought a 15ml size and it was great. Invested in the full sized one and again it was great. Bought another one when I went on holiday as I got a free travel sized with it. Got to the end of the first full sized and the pump stopped working. Couldn't get all of the product out of the bottle. Moved onto the new full sized. The same happened but also the product felt like it had gone off as it started flaking back off my skin. Decided that after I had used the travel sized I would try something else. Whilst on holiday in US picked up some Laura Geller Spackle to try. I remember reading reviews about Smashbox though and the bottle was a big complaint with a lot of people. Have since seen on QVC that the packaging has been changed to a tube so I may buy again now. Depends on how I get on with the LG one. Plus I got a second bottle of Spackle for Christmas (the champagne one) so it will be a long time before I decide between the two (unless of course I have some major reaction to Spackle!).
Have put another £1.00 in my pot as these were two small items. Have £14.50 in there so my Clinique Mascara will cost me 50p on Saturday. :money:Back for the No Buying Toiletries challenge. Can't discuss how much in the stash but it's embarrasing. My biggest weakness is GWP cosmetic events. I love those little jars and bottles. BUT I don't travel enough to ever use them all and I don't wear make up every day because it's not the kind of job where make up is necessary.
