  • LadyM- your OT or GP should be able to refer you for a wheelchair, but every council and health board will work slightly differently, so your doctor is probably right. Here's hoping you get some helpful equipment too - I had noticed the other day you mentioned that you needed hubby to help you get in and out the bath (these are the things that jump out at me...sad I know!!)...the OT should be able to offer some equipment or adaptation that will allow you to manage independently. Best of luck, and don't worry about it xx

  • UU's

    Tresemme Healthy Volume Conditioner - WNBA, near the end of its use, I felt my hair was weighed down.

    4x Max Factor ageless exilir foundation samples - I used one, GA the rest. I hated it. It made my skin feel super clogged up and it just felt too heavy

  • Thank you, Anni :) I'm not sure what has caused this crash. I wonder if I have got a bug and that has made matters worse? Or it might just be a random blip :( Who knows?? :wall:

    On a happier note, I've just ordered a Garnier BB Cream sample via Boots (hopefully this link works: http://www.boots-samples.com/garnier/b-b-cream/thanks.html)

  • :wave: Adela. :eek: to the idea of Facial Fuel!

    I just wanted to say that I hope you're feeling better. Have your meds settled down yet? It's horrible having to change meds...

    Hey everyone, a UU to report;

    Dove Intensive Oil treatment conditioner - WBA, love the things it has done for my hair! Actually went and bought 2 for £4 in Boots the other day (so a couple of IN's to declare there).

    Spent all day giving the bathroom a thorough clean and my mum didn't even notice! Now I'm completely shattered and feeling a little disheartened! Oh well, next weeks task is to scrub the kitchen top to bottom, which she will notice!

    Thank you for your useful and helpful advice. :) I want to be able to get in and out of the bath by myself (although I still need help with washing sometimes as I find that exhausting too :o) but I also want to be able to have a bath when DH isn't here. I'd also love to be able to have a shower but we have a shower over the bath and I can't stand for too long. :(

    Sometimes we can relapse for no reason. :( It's even more annoying when that happens because you can't put your finger on why and it makes it more frustrating. I seem to be in a permanent relapse.:(

    I have another UU - Tesco Vitamin E wipes - WBA when they are around 25p but noticed last week they were up to 75p :eek: no rush to buy any for a wee while as got plenty more stashed away ;)
    Life is a coin, you can spend it anyway you wish, but you can only spend it once.
    Go as far as you can see, and when you get there you'll see further.
    Take time but don't waste time
