Still catching up. I'm so glad someone else has had this problem with S&G handfood. Thankfully I had one that finished last night and was using it on my feet but it smelled awful :( I still have 2 more in the stash to use and both smell yucky so they are for my feet.

A bit like you, I'm also glad it's not just me...if I notice something wrong with a toiletry, I often find myself thinking 'Is it just me?'
UU S&G Clean on Me shower gel WBA woohoo can't believe it's finished! Got another in the stash but on to a Molton Brown mini for a nice change!

Good luck - that's another 6 months in the other bottle! :rotfl: I'd have a decent sized break first! ;)
    evening all,

no more ins or outs to declare but I did PYTN with Nails Inc New York ( a diet coke freebie forever ago), a very vibrant pink which is quite cheery looking.

Also had my first ever spray tan today, I'm ever so slightly worried as I have a very definite green tinge. I'm hoping it will all wash off in the morning. I'm off to a formal tomorrow and was aiming for the sunkissed look, not shrek, please can some of you lovely ladies tell me if this is normal?

Chillax, sunshineyday: you should be fine. I bet you'll be all sunshiney-kissed tomorrow. ;) When it's put on it looks nothing like when it's taken off. :)

Another UU: Hugo Boss Orange shower gel. WIBA? It came as part of a gift set with the perfume. It's nice, but nothing special. WNBA

Origins Modern Friction - WNBA contains SLS and is very scratchy for facial skin. i repurposed as a body scrub because i was out of that and its done well. one more sample tube to go then I'm onto my nice Elemis stuff!

I'm using Modern Friction at the mo and am having a love/hate relationship with it. Sometimes it makes my skin feel soapy and tight after washing off and I've had the burning sensation someone else mentioned before as well. On the plus side something is keeping the millia at bay! I got mine from my SS and am thankful to them for helping me try this without me making the purchase.

morning all, actually did a PYNM last night as DH away yet again:(I like watching Whitechapel but it is far too scary to watch when alone in the house

I'm loving the series of Whitechapel although MrM keeps laughing every time Steve Pemberton is on as he can't get used to his posh voice! lol

I have an entire cupboard that is just detergent and fabric softner :o plus a storage tower full of candles, air fresheners, bleach, washing up liquid, tea bags (and now coffee :p) - all bought with vouchers fro free or practically free :D It's like having my own corner shop :rotfl:

Oh yeh, my other addiction is to Yankee Candles. I have already bought a stash ready for next Christmas and recently placed an order with yankee direct who had a fab offer on re: votives and tarts. Have been burning cinnamon stick in my living room. The only thing is the next day it smells like curry.

    Another UU: S&G Hand Food.

WIBA? Sometimes it seemed to go on really well, but other times it just seemed to rub get spread over rather than absorbed by the skin. And I misplaced it for a month or so and when I refound it, it smelled a little off (not too much, but it was only gone for a little while...). So WNBA.

I've stopped buying this for the same reason. It mostly feels greasy and usually goes off before I finish it.

    Morning Ladies,

Day off today as too many flexi hours in the bank! OH is off on a fitness and medical this morning which is the final step towards a fab new job so fingers crossed for him! Going for a stroll with the dog this morning even though the wind sounds wild then might take a walk up to a lovely little cake shop by us that's shut by the time I finish work to get some treats. This afternoon once OH is back we're going to watch The Woman in Black I think, scary

Glad I'm in good company with stashes of another variety, the tea bag one made me giggle! :rotfl:

One UU and one IN to report from last night:

IN (guilt free as sent by Mum) - Tesco McAdam Brunette Super Shine Conditioner - I'm currently enamoured with Aussie Aussome Volume conditioner but will try and intertwine this into use now and again along with a couple of conditioning splutterers I've got but am loathe to upset the balance of my hair as it seems happy at the min!

UU - Impulse Hot Pink Shower Gel - It was ok, did the job, lathered well but wasn't too keen on the fragrance which was very synthetic, WBA but only if it was a dirt cheap mega bargain - plenty more shower gel in the stash yet in any case.

Have a lovely day all, I intend to enjoy my freedom! :j

    Ems

Sounds like plans for a lovely day off. Did you see Woman in Black and what did you think? We saw it a couple of weeks ago but I'd had 2 x glasses of wine and a champagne cocktail by the time we went in and I know I nodded off a couple of times! Have the book to read though.
    one more UU:

my other Origins plantscription firming cream sample. as before WNBA.

I have a sample size of this to try as well. How come you WNBA?

At a meeting I attended this afternoon, a lady there, in her 70's, was showing us how well an opertion scar on her hand had healed, it was only a few weeks since the surgery, and we could hardly see the incision - she credited the healing and the lack of scarring totally to using Bio-oil.

I've been told by a pregnant friend that apparently bio oil is now free on NHS to pregnant ladies. Not that I'm encouraging anything at all. There even limits to my :money: :rotfl:

Now I've finally caught up with thread I have a UU to report: 15ml bottle of OPI Avoplex oil. Have a few of the To Go versions in my stash so don't need to replace this just yet. Think I'd try something else anyway.

My LE order has arrived from QVC and yesterday I bought an ASDA own brand roll on deodorant as it was reduced to 45p. I only have one deodorant on the go.

Have a good day everyone. x

    Hi all,
I've been reading about these beauty boxes that you all keep talking about and decided to go ahead and try one.
The cheapest was the Lastest in Beauty one so i went for that, the 'Refresh & Recover' box, which i am quite pleased with.
I also bought the sample of Estee lauder BB cream and the 3 small samples box, both for the price of a £1.50 text.
I am wondering if they do this sort of thing quite often as i have a fair bit of unwanted phone credit so this would be a good way of using it.
Or do you know any other sites that do a similar thing, buying stuff with phone credit?
    TIA

just had a eureka moment after reading this!DS3 gave me his old phone a couple of years ago and as it has £20 in credit I have not recycled it(I have a phone for emergencies only and if I spend £20 a year it has been a busy year:rotfl:)well never thought of using it up to texxt LIB!!!!that should give me lots of goodies:)
p.s what is a BB cream?seen this about a lot recently and no idea what it means
p.p s there is agarnier offer being advertised on tV for a pack of samples of BB cream access via facebook,I just googles it and found my way through the ordering that way:)

Must say I love my LIB you box see ins above, I know some people were disappointed, but I think its a great selection of products for the price, and I love the pink box which will probably be reused as a lovely gift box. Looking forward to trying it all. Only problem is I want more beautyboxes now, getting really excited about my first Amarya one next month now.

Is it just me that finds it more enjoyable trying out these posh samples rather than using boring everyday stuff.

i thought i was using a posh sample with the dr organics skin lotion rose otto, turns out it is £7 for 200mls:rotfl:so I bought some as I love the smell and it is ok for face as well as body

Love the splutterer. You'reright, cutting open hand cream, seems to be ages till UU. So far have put all toiletries themed into 8 :( big plastic boxes. So that's a start. Hoping to be using majority of boxes for soething more useful by xmas 2012

I have a couple more UU's to report:

Lush Olive Branch shower gel 100ml - was almost finished but I had to throw it out as it had went off. Smelt vile!

Sanctuary body scrub - was nice but a bit 'meh' Got a few more scrubs to use anyway.
