I have binned the last skin doctors spot stick last night after reading back my last post. It just isn't working on my spots....and there are quite a few. So I am now trying Clinique spot treatment and if that doesn't work I am back onto my SOS.
My best friend is coming over tonight and we are off to see The Woman in Black too. I love the theatre and have seen it four times in the West End so I have high hopes for the film.No buying toiletries Graduated May 2017Decluttered 2016 2469 items, 2017 1580 items :j2018 3060 itemsSealed Pot Challenge No 0380 -
Must say I love my LIB you box see ins above, I know some people were disappointed, but I think its a great selection of products for the price, and I love the pink box which will probably be reused as a lovely gift box. Looking forward to trying it all. Only problem is I want more beautyboxes now, getting really excited about my first Amarya one next month now.
Is it just me that finds it more enjoyable trying out these posh samples rather than using boring everyday stuff.0 -

We really enjoyed The Woman in Black at our local theater a coupleof years ago, but it looks like we're waiting for the DVD before watching the film, but i did treat myself to a copy of the book.0 -
Saw the woman in black on Saturday. it's really good and captures the spirit of the book well, but poor old Daniel Radcliffe still can't act. He's still relying on the limited range of facial expressions he used in the Harry Potter films. I saw the 'defiance when facing Voldemort' face several times........0

I'm splitting my post up because of paranoia about it vanishing (happens to me a lot and looks like I'm not the only one).
Anyway, a UU. Some ancient facial wipes. Not really ancient, I don't mean they date from the early Babylonian period or anything, but old in cosmetic terms. I think I must have bought them in 2007. I found them in a neglected make up bag in my desk drawer. The bag was once used regularly, in my previous job where my colleagues liked to go for a drink on a Friday night post work. I changed jobs in 2009 and now work somewhere that isn't anywhere near as lively. The wipes were once used to take the day's make up off before slapping on my pub & disco face. Anyway, the make up bag appears to have preserved them quite well cos they weren't quite dried out and two thirds were left. They were Asda's own brand.
When I unearthed them I brought them home and wasn't sure what to do with them. I don't really use wipes because I don't find them as effective as cleanser. Anyway hit on wheeze of using them after I've been on a run. I sweat off most of my make up but a bit plus eyeliner is always left. Wipes, shower, bob's your uncle. WBA for same purpose!0 -
And finally....... My bio oil is spluttering. It was the biggest bottle they do. I use it instead of night cream when I'm not sticking facial self tanner on.
I know that lots of people say that bio oil is a big con and the active ingredient is duck feather oil and there's no way that vitamins A and E can remain in suspension in the oil for very long blah blah but I trust my own judgement on this one and I can truly say that my skin has never been as nice as it has since I've been using bio oil, plus it feels gorgeous on.
The next thing in stock is the Sanctuary facial oil (£5 voucher barminess again), which I'm told is really nice so I won't be too disappointed to see the end of the lovely Bio oil, but I expect to buy it again.0 -
Hi all,
I've been reading about these beauty boxes that you all keep talking about and decided to go ahead and try one.
The cheapest was the Lastest in Beauty one so i went for that, the 'Refresh & Recover' box, which i am quite pleased with.
I also bought the sample of Estee lauder BB cream and the 3 small samples box, both for the price of a £1.50 text.
I am wondering if they do this sort of thing quite often as i have a fair bit of unwanted phone credit so this would be a good way of using it.
Or do you know any other sites that do a similar thing, buying stuff with phone credit?
