For the third time a watch bought in March 2011 has been sent in for repair and we are asking for a full refund. In Aug 2011 the hands were repaired and the same again in November. From our point of view therefore, the watch clearly has a problem and do not want another one for the company concerned. We got this reply:-
"Unfortunately because you have used the watch we are unable to provide a full refund. However there are 2 options available to you: 1. We are able to offer a partial refund relative to the length of time you have had the watch. The consumer act allows us to do this. 2. We can offer you store credit of up to £35 to spend on our website. Please get back to us with your desired course of action.
Should we acccept? The watch cost £35 so the in store credit is a possibility but we do not really want another watch from them. Or are we being too fussy?

They are within their rights to do this.
