Nice (Cheap) restaurants near Birmingham Hippodrome?

Hi MSErs,

Going to theatre to see nutcracker next tues at 7pm, Birmingham Hippodrome. Taking an elderly disabled lady (my nan!) and mum, and we wanted to eat early before the performance.

Can anyone recommend anywhere? Not Las Iguanas (she dislikes spicy).

Early bird deals maybe??

There's a Wetherspoons just opposite (The Dragon Inn), it's a nice one & they do a steak night on a Tuesday, and dircetly opposite is the Coffee Room, which is a restaurant not a coffee bar, not sure if they do a pre theatre deal though. The Hippodrome have a restaurant so you could check their website too. Enjoy

I was just about to suggest Ming Moon which is almost opposite the Hippodrome, for a fab chinese buffet, but there is a flight of stairs to climb to get inside. I am not sure if they have a disabled entrance, so this may not be any good.

Hey thanks for that! We went to the Coffee House. It was very good. Would defo recommend! We also really liked Wetherspoons. Clean and welcoming. Good atmosphere.
