Cheapest way to send something to Hong Kong with tracked post?

I bought something off ebay from Hong Kong which has sadly gone wrong.
The post office weighed the parcel which is quite small and quoted me £54 for tracked post!!
Does anyone know of a cheaper way to send it?

What weight is it?
