in Credit cards
I have two mastercards tescos and Rbs both have a zero balance on them each with a credit limit of £3500, is it better to keep these unused with a zero balance on them both to improve my credit rating or ditch them?

depends upon your general financial circumstances0

The former will probably do nothing for your credit rating (why would it?...you're not using and repaying a credit facility), whereas the latter may go either way depending, as CLAPTON says, on your other financial circumstances.centrehalf wrote: »is it better to keep these unused with a zero balance on them both to improve my credit rating or ditch them?0 -
If youre going to keep them, make sure that they dont have a dormancy fee.
Amex charge you £20 if you dont use the card for a year.make the most of it, we are only here for the weekend.
