For immediate travel I'd say megabus.com is likely to be cheapest.

National express do funfairs from £1 with no booking fee (unlike megabus) from Glasgow to Aberdeen - so worth comparing them with megabus.

I do this trip regularly and depending on the dates you are travelling you might be able to grab a cheap return on the train £20. It is much more reliable than the Mega bus which is about £14 for that trip now. I had a quick look at National Express this morning and there were fares to London for £1 which stopped in Glasgow so that might be the one for you. Good luck.

Yeah i would say megabus, depends on what time of the day you want to travel, prices vary so it couldbe £3 at 9am and £11 at 12pm.

The daily record had an offer for scotrail half price tickets, you only needed 3 tokens out the paper and that was it, that was last week sometime though so might be bit late to mention now. Good luck anyway
