We paid money upfront to a pushy salesman from Consumer Money Matters, in 2010. We were told that the claim could take some weeks to settle (can't remember exact figures) but nothing has been sorted out yet! Every time my husband telephones Key Finance he is told "it is in the hands of the Ombudsman".....very convenient. He telephoned today and said he will take it somewhere else and he was told that there there will be a £400 cancellation fee!

I would advice people not to use these companies as we are very suspicious of them and will seek further advice.:(

Sorry to read your post. I know Consumer Money Matters are always keen to resolve any issues as quickly as they can and if you were to call them on 0116 249 2462, ask to speak to the manager of that department (Phil), he also uses the site and he will personally investigate this for you.
