Nationwide Agreement in Principle

Were seeing 4 houses this week so hopefully one of them will be "the one", I've got May,June,July bank statements so if I apply for the full mortgage soon I'm guessing they will probably need August.0

Seems to be a bit mixed on experiences with them! We're using a broker for 75% ltv for art exchange on a new build house. We got our agreement in principle pretty swiftly ( 2days) after a credit check.
We're now just waiting for an offer from the builders on our current flat before going ahead with the full application. For those that have done that, what exactly does it entail?
Thanks!0 -
I've just had a pleasant experience with nationwide despite my credit score being very poor.
I recently moved my current account and small overdraft to them because they offered a free overdraft for 12 months which will save me money and give me time to get my account back into credit.
Whilst accepting my application they also offered me a 26 months interest free credit card, agreed in principle and it arrived a few days later.
I can't praise them enough, because they have saved me a ton of interest, and I've cleared two credit card balances, so should now get better offers from them and hopefully be totally interest free on all 4 cards - not to mention paying off much earlier and improving my score.
Thanks nationwide!!0
