If this was a council-issued PCN, then go to http://www.pepipoo.com/"You were only supposed to blow the bl**dy doors off!!"0

Sounds like a council ticket, can you just confirm who exactly issued this to you, if its private parking company you need different advice.Excel Parking, MET Parking, Combined Parking Solutions, VP Parking Solutions, ANPR PC Ltd, & Roxburghe Debt Collectors. What do they all have in common?
They are all or have been suspended from accessing the DVLA database for gross misconduct!
Do you really need to ask what kind of people run parking companies?0 -

I don't think you need road markings or signs on the pavement. The road where I live has just become a resident's permit parking area. All we have are large warning signs as you drive into the street and smaller signs on each lamp-post.What part of "A whop bop-a-lu a whop bam boo" don't you understand?0 -
Thanks... This was issued by plymouth city council..noticed this morning the sign is partially obscured by bushes..worth appealing on these grounds..any help is much appreciated.0

Sounds like you have a good case with no lines and no visible sign either.
Have you posted a pic of your ticket (both sides) on pepipoo yet?

That's where you need to be to see this through. Read the FAQs 'how to post pictures' and read a few other threads to get the gist of what to post on a pepipoo thread.
HTH, you should win this as most people on pepipoo do and you have grounds, it seems.
Just don't expect the Council to fold at the first appeal, you will be in this for a longer haul I suspect before the Council give up; they don't like their signs & lines being criticised and you'll get a formulaic rejection at first I think. In the end it will be an all or nothing formal appeal with the full penalty in play, or nothing. So forget the discounted penalty, it shouldn't influence you as it is only offered at this early stage - and I wouldn't pay up!PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

also take pictures of the signs and place where you parked, this will help with your appeal.Excel Parking, MET Parking, Combined Parking Solutions, VP Parking Solutions, ANPR PC Ltd, & Roxburghe Debt Collectors. What do they all have in common?
