Hi folks,
We have a new 'Good debt / bad debt video quiz' and we'd really appreciate it if you could try it out for us. Please reply below if you have any issues.
It'll take around 5 minutes and you need to have the sound turned up or use headphones.

No issues here, just wanted to say how I;m glad the last question was in there. As he said, nothnigs black and white.Faced up to my debt Jan 2012.0

all worked fine for me, but no magic at the end to see how my answers compare...not sure if that bit was in place or not0

Excellent, nicely put-together and relevant clip - not too long and not too short; top stuff.
Issues (for me): the sound was slightly out-of-sync with the picture, the sound being fractionally ahead (any comparison drawn with this and badly-dubbed foreign films of a certain - ahem - nature will be kept to myself...
). Also the "good" or "bad" voting buttons didn't appear - but I assume this was intentional (?) as the results didn't come up at the end either.
Overall, I thought it was a very good idea to have little clips like this. As Martin said, the questions were originally geared towards teenagers and so might seem basic to some older people - however more and more people are (unfortunately) entering the adult world of work and life-affecting choices (in which accruing debt often plays a major part) without the standard of education and forward-thinking that previous generations have had. I therefore feel that pitching the film and any subsequent similar "shorts" at this level is ideal. It's quirky enough to be appealing and understandable, without being patronising or childish.
Hope this helps! x0 -
Hi, thanks for the feedback.
hr9hr9: there should have been results at the end, though there are some glitches we're just fixing.
RuthnJasper: were you definitely within MSE, and not Youtube? We're working on some messages to make sure people don't click through to Youtube, as the quiz doesn't work there.0 -
One thing that might sound picky, but in the video, Martin refers to the answers being below the video and they're not, they're overlaid on top of the video. Worked fine besides. If you don't stand for something, you'll fall for anything0

Great bit of kit, should help people get over some of the stigma and highlight some off the problems areas0

Hiya, we've fixed some glitches if anyone else is able to test?0

Just tested, everything worked fine including the nifty chart at the end. I'm using Firefox if that's useful

Worked fine for me.
It might be interesting to have a timer to see how long people thought about Q3 compared to Q1 and Q2. In my case much longer as I was looking for an "it depends" button.
