Where to Start?!

Hiya mrsbunntobe,

I'm just outside Teesside and will be getting married in the village church with the reception in the village hall (if all goes to plan). The village hall will be £5 an hour and we will decorate it ourselves with fabric and fairy lights so it looks like a marquee. We're getting a caterer for the wedding breakfast but the evening do will be a hog roast at £2 a head.
There are a couple of nice hotels in Yarm as well as all the rugby clubs etc. It might be worth having a drive round, finding a venue you like and then enquiring rather than just looking at hotels.

someone had a great idea about hiring a field and getting a marquee but not too sure how much this would cost as of yet?!

So excited to now start with all the minor details, without trying to blow the budget out of proportion

do you have a holiday inn near you? we are getting married at one and got a package for £1000. I DIY'd my invites for both day and evening, got cards, inserts, toppers, favours, bags etc from ebay. I brought my own foam flowers and am making mine and bridesmaids bouquets plus button holes (total cost for flowers £34).
Cost for favours £4.00
Cost for invites £12
