Are there really no new posts today (or last night) or have some been deleted again?!

where else online is this advert talked about? I can't find anything on google other than this thread regarding it.

I'm intrigued as I've seen that advert appearing for at least a decade.

I saw a debate about it on the Urban75 site a few years ago. Someone was convinced it was PD James and she was bumping off the applicants as 'research' for her novels! :D

And here I was thinking we had freedom of speech.

This forum belongs to a company, it's not a public space, they make that very clear. Generally speaking they are quite tolerant, they've even allowed threads criticising the recent merger in 'colourful' terms.
However it's like going to someone's house and being asked to refrain from certain behaviours, you can comply or leave and exercise your freedom of speech in a public space.

You don't even take him seriously,
How am I going to get to heaven?,
When I'm just balanced so precariously..

    Indeed.

'Freedom of speech' means you're free to start your own newspaper, not that you can insist to the Times that they print any letter you send them.

I know it's silly, but I read this whole thread in the early hours of this morning and for some reason it left me feeling really creeped out!

Well I told my boyfriend about it and he told me to be careful and not to get too curious about what's going on. I think he's imagining that an underground organisation is coming to hunt me down!
    Thank you competition posters!
