I saw a debate about it on the Urban75 site a few years ago. Someone was convinced it was PD James and she was bumping off the applicants as 'research' for her novels!0 -
And here I was thinking we had freedom of speech.
This forum belongs to a company, it's not a public space, they make that very clear. Generally speaking they are quite tolerant, they've even allowed threads criticising the recent merger in 'colourful' terms.
However it's like going to someone's house and being asked to refrain from certain behaviours, you can comply or leave and exercise your freedom of speech in a public space.0 -

'Freedom of speech' means you're free to start your own newspaper, not that you can insist to the Times that they print any letter you send them.0 -
