Just warning people, be careful what you post on the codes thread as even if it is actually something helpful someone will be waiting to jump down your throat and acuse you of chat- not posting there again, posting everything on here from now on.

The person you are referring to is the board guide and her comments do not warrant this kind of comment.

Finally, we have a BG who is on the ball.

Only codes should be posted on the CODES ONLY thread, everything else is chat and should be posted on this discussion thread.

Why not post here whatever you wrongly posted on codes, so we can decide who was wrong?

The post that was deleted was because it didnt contain a code.

Your post was quoting an OP saying that tickets were available for a specific cinema.

Once the OP has been posted, subscribers will get an email and then they will keep checking to see if there local cinema has tickets as opposed to people posting on the codes thread about each individual cinemas.

Wholeheartedly agree with everything you have said and done.

However, just a query on whether you agree with the exception and justification on my posting a "very" last minute cancellation that I did on this thread (post #937) AND duplicated on the CODES ONLY as well to try to prevent wasted journeys etc.

Email was ONLY received less than 2 hours before the screening was due to start.

Yes I agree completely with you, the post you made would have saved people a wasted trip so was an important one even though there was no code.

Fair enough then, it's just that I've seen people posting when tickets are released again before and this is the first time I've seen someone get a message for doing it. My post might not have been a new code but it didn't count as chat either. Sorry for offence, just trying to save other people from being made to feel stupid as I was this morning. Perhaps this information can be added to the top of the thread with the rest of the thread rules so we can all be clear as I know I was definitely not the first person to do this.

No deffo not the 1st and won't be the last either, most of the people who post things that are not codes get told about it so you are not being singled out and sarah was not trying to make you feel bad or stupid, just letting you know the rules which is her "job" (volunteer board guide) to do x

Not sure it can be made much clearer though as the title of the thread has in it CODES ONLY - NO CHAT:)
